We require updated rabies, bordetella, canine influenza, and distemper vaccinations (DHLPP for dogs and FVRCP for cats). Updated vaccination records must be provided at the time of drop off or you can have your veterinarian's office fax them to us before your appointment at (301) 475-5565, or feel free to email them to us at email@example.com. All vaccinations must be given by a licensed veterinarian.
We can provide (for dogs) Iams Weight Control, Pedigree Large Bites, and/or Purina One Lamb & Rice. We also have Pedigree canned food and various treats. We can provide (for cats) Iams Weight Control and/or Fancy Feast canned food.
If your pet has any food allergies or other special dietary needs, we do suggest that you bring food from home, either individually packaged by meal, or with measuring instructions for us. We do have a refrigerator and freezer available if needed.
Our staff is highly trained and qualified to administer medications. If your pet requires any type of medication, please bring the medication with you and give us the appropriate instructions on how to administer the medication. We do generally have a different schedule for giving out medication, but we will discuss this with you and do our best to stay with a schedule that is similar to one the pet would receive at home. We administer insulin shots, but they are $5 per shot.
Please feel free to bring an item from home, such as a toy or a blanket. We only ask that you label the item with each pet's first and last names. We cannot guarantee the item's return, but we do our best.
Upon drop off for a boarding stay, we require our clients to sign our boarding contract and vet warranty. This is an additional charge of $5, which is applied to each pet for each boarding stay. Please ask us for additional information.
If you have any information we need to know in order to accommodate your pets' special needs, please feel free to tell us upon drop off or when you call to make a reservation. We do provide bedding, but please let us know if your pet has arthritis or other ailments that would require extra bedding or an elevated bed. If your pet is fed with an elevated dish at home, please let us know so that we can be sure to accommodate that need.
