FAQ

Due To The Recent Events Of Covid-19 Will You Still Be Open?

All services are available including Grooming, Bathing, Day Care and Boarding. As we strive to maintain a safe and sanitary workplace we require masks to be worn when dropping off and picking up your pet to reduce your risk and maintain social distancing requirements. If you have questions or require any special assistance during this time please feel free to call our office at (301)-475-2142.

What Are Your Vaccination Requirements?

We require updated rabies, bordetella, canine influenza, and distemper vaccinations (DHLPP for dogs and FVRCP for cats).  Updated vaccination records must be provided at the time of drop off or you can have your veterinarian's office fax them to us before your appointment at (301) 475-5565, or feel free to email them to us at fun@countrysidespetparadise.com. All vaccinations must be given by a licensed veterinarian.

What Kind of Food Do You Provide?

For dogs we can provide Pedigree dry, and canned food.

For cats we can provide Meow Mix dry, and Friskies canned food, as well as Fancy Feast canned food.

Can I Bring My Own Food?

If your pet has any food allergies or other special dietary needs, we do suggest that you bring food from home, individually packaged by meal, in disposable bags. We do have a refrigerator and freezer available if needed. We charge a $2 fee per meal for any special prepping/handling.

Can You Administer Medication?

Our staff is highly trained and qualified to administer medications. If your pet requires any type of medication, please bring the medication with you and give us the appropriate instructions on how to administer the medication. We do generally have a different schedule for giving out medication, but we will discuss this with you and do our best to stay with a schedule that is similar to one the pet would receive at home. We charge $2 per time administered. We do NOT give shots of any form, and would recommend boarding pets with daily shot requirements with a trusted veterinarian facility.

Can I Bring Toys From Home?

While we do not take any linens, we do allow toys to be brought from home. However, any toys brought from home will be considered a donation, as we do not return toys, as many become destroyed, or end in the wash, failing to make the journey home.

Do You Have a Boarding Contract?

Upon drop off for a boarding stay, we require our clients to sign our boarding contract, that covers emergencies, vet bills, personals, and liabilities. Please ask us for additional information.

What If My Pet Needs Special Care?

If you have any information we need to know in order to accommodate your pets' special needs, please feel free to tell us upon drop off or when you call to make a reservation.  We do provide bedding, but please let us know if your pet has arthritis or other ailments that would require extra bedding or an elevated bed.  If your pet is fed with an elevated dish at home, please let us know so that we can be sure to accommodate that need.
